This sounds like plantar fasciitis. Both me and my Dad have it and it is an overuse injury. I went to the doctors because I had a burning in my arch that was so bad I couldnt walk and thats what he said it was. It comes and goes but i have found that putting gel supports in my foot. I also play football and was told to stop playing but it did nothing so dont stop playing because of it. Try searching plantar fasciitis on the internet. Hope that helps
