Yes, You can use your own personal router. Plug in the Ethernet cord (Looks like a big rubber phone cord) into one of the open yellow-outlined ports in the back of your ATT Router( NOT THE BROADBAND PORT). Plug the other side into the back of your new router. plug in your new router to the electricity, and setup the new router using the CD that came with the router (ON YOUR COMPUTER). otherwise, you can look at the wireless networks on your computer. BE SURE TO GET A MATCHING FREQUENCY ROUTER AND ADAPTER. (ex. Wireless N is not compatiple with Wireless G). ATT should not care that you’re using your own equiptment. . . notes:. If all the ports are full on the back of your att router, plug some into the back of your new router.
