Cal really has a wonderful Office for Students with Disabilities. They make sure students with disabilities are treated equally and that their needs are accommodated as much as possible. Although Cal doesn’t believe in adjusting the curriculum (which I think is fair), the Office for Students with Disabilities would accommodate me fairly. I would get extra time to take tests. Also, if a class was in a building that wasn’t accessible, they would move the class into another building. I think if all universities followed these policies, students with disabilities would get an equal chance at receiving a proper education.
