What a terrific weekend. Kicked off Pledge to Fledge on Thursday with the past remaining vernal marsh in Los Angeles County, with two fledglings. Fantastic, late afternoon birding for two several hours. Went again Friday early morning with an environmental educator. He was all jazzed about remaining out with “real” birdershe’s hooked. Two more events on Saturday and Sunday, and we picqued the interest of several much more individuals. Most exciting was an 11-year aged youthful lady who beloved all of it, and just could not stop taking pics of birds. We reached about 15 people, ranging in age from 11 to 83. Great event!
