I am a inventory manager for a chain of car dealerships in Georgia. After hearing about the transportation nightmare now in Haiti, the owner of my company has expressed interest in donating cars (read: tax benefits!) to Haitian orphanages. Now, used car donations is nothing new for us as we do it for tax purposes nearly every year, but I’m not sure where to get started on figuring this out as far as donating to Haiti. Can you point me in the right direction? Thanks.

Is this a joke??? What part of this census operation was “flashy”?? I’m sure this next portion of the census IS more technical… I just hope your number crunchers aren’t pressured to cut corners and do things that might result in even further inaccuracies like some of the enumerators were forced to do… and their field work was no less critical than any other part of this process.
I was very defensive of the census and it’s criticisms when I first started working… sadly, that changed back in May when management at the regional level became idiotic. Now I find myself happy for this to be at an end and not be associated with it anymore.
