Hello.This post was really remarkable, particularly since I was investigating for thoughts on this matter last Saturday.
there’s no official word yet, but i read that in an interview that the whole cast would be on board if the sequel was to be made. they had a blast making the movie and they would love to work on a sequel too

Technically America never declared war on anyone in Vietnam, it was a “police action”, so America technically never fought a war in the first place. De jure though, it was a defeat as, despite not losing a single battle and inflicting far greater casualties than suffered, the US failed in its political objectives, namely the defense of South Vietnam. So yeah, we haven’t lost the war, but we? did fail at what we came to do.
