I’m a religious Jew, who believes, at least in theory, in the Hebrew script existing before the creation of the world, and when I saw the title of this post, I said to myself, “oh, Chinese, what else could it be?”. I guess this concept has been hammered into us so much that it’s a knee-jerk reaction.

I was quite astonished to be asked if I were African American or Negro. Negro is a term that old white men use. One almost lost his job as a US Senator. What are you people thinking about? Why would a black person willingly respond to what some consider an insult? Ask Harry Reid to help you with the wording.
I overlooked the insult due to the importance of the mission.

I myself was under the impression that college students were always accounted for by their parents. I think it is extremely important that they know this is not the case. E-mail is a great idea but, might not get tremendous feedback. Further announcements should be made and students should be warned about the notification being sent to them that way they do not overlook it while shuffling through dozens of daily e-mails. The internet is a great tool for reaching this age bracket. Efforts should not be limited to simply e-mail but, extend into other internet forums and networking sites. Would the census taken by a college student require him or her to include his or her current location or their technical “home”? Does that mean out-of-state students are benefiting their temporary residence? Is there a large possibility that parents would mistakenly fill out a census for their already-accounted-for children?

What do I find the biggest daily challenge is for me during the school week? I think it would have to be getting my homework done and actually having a life! Since it takes me so long to do my homework, I have to make time to do that first. Usually, nights, after dinner, I don’t do homework and I just go online and relax. I have to put in a lot of effort for school, so I make nights my time to catch up on my e-mail, talk to people, etc.
