I was hitchhiking on Rt. 250 near Cadiz, Ohio while in the late 1960s and a dude driving one among these SS396 Camaros stopped and picked me up. We have been on an open, straight run of highway during the center of nowhere. The car almost launched by itself. The only other car I bought that experiencing from was a Shelby Mustang driven by a traveling salesman with ladies underwear stacked up in boxes during the back again seat. I’d some great rides hitching in people days.
