    I entirely agree , I absolutely hate the “Hey there, I subscribed to your RSS Feed” type of comments on my weblog. Even so I do get a kick out of comment spam that has definitely no benefit for the guy spamming , broken links , no anchor text ,ect. I guess I need to be upset a little a lot more about it , but akismet is so fantastic about catching points any far more.
